The Cake Life is a by appointment only bakery located inside St Joe's Plaza in Dickinson, ND. I create fun custom cakes, amazing wedding cakes, decorated cookies and baked goods for the Dickinson ND and surrounding areas. Cake pricing & my menu is at www.thecakelife.com. My creations require quite a bit of time & its just myself so dates fill up quickly. Please contact me as early as possible with

your request. The only details required to secure a date with a non refundable retainer are the event date and an estimated number of servings. Thank you!

The big day is almost here! Our auction is happening tomorrow, Thursday the 28th, at 5:30pm.

Island Cuisine LLC will be open for dinner after 4pm & should also be open. You can grab dinner & a drink, then on to the auction! If you see something that catches your eye, but cant make it in person, online bidding is also available thru Gandgauctioneers.com.

Item pick up will also be available from 12-6 on Friday & Saturday.
Thats it, after that, we are officially closed. Thank you to every single one of you who has been a part of this journey!

If you've ever been curious about how much stuff a baker can acquire in 14 years, I have the answer! Or you can come see for yourself on August 28th at 5:30. Over 400 items in 120 lots will be up for auction. If you cant make it in person, theres a live online option too.

After 20 years of making cakes and 14 years as The Cake Life, I have decided to hang up my aprons and move on to the next adventure.
What started as a Wilton Winnie the Pooh cake for my nephews first birthday in KC grew into a full bakery in my own commercial kitchen in North Dakota.
Through this journey Ive made some incredible cakes but Ive met some even more incredible people. From mentors & instructors to fellow students, cake decorators & business owners, thank you! In an industry that can be extremely competitive, Ive been so fortunate to meet the most open, sharing, fun, encouraging & helpful individuals.
Thank you to every single person who trusted me with their special occasion. I feel so grateful to have shared in the excitement and joy of couples planning their wedding day, parents planning birthdays, business owners celebrating milestones and every occasion in between.
Im not sure what my next adventure will be, but hopefully something that is just as fulfilling as this has been.
I will still be sharing cake pictures because I have a backlog of them, but I am no longer taking orders.
That being said, if you know of anyone who is looking for commercial bakery equipment, please send them my way!
