Once again, the Dewey Beach Lions stepped up by donating over $500 worth of diapers, wipes, and toddler clothing to the Rehoboth Community Resource Center just in time for Mother’s Day.

These much-needed gifts are greatly appreciated and will help support local families in our community. Thank you to everyone who contributed to making a difference! 💙🦁

A very special thank you to everyone who joined us Monday night at Nicola Pizza for our Dine to Donate event.

Because of your incredible generosity, we raised $2,305 for the Dewey Beach Lions Club, helping us continue our mission of serving the community.

👏 And a huge shoutout to our amazing volunteers who gave their time and energy to make the evening run so smoothly. Your dedication truly made a difference.

Volunteers Needed!!

We are looking for a few Lions to help staff our table during the Dine to Donate at Nicola Pizza on Monday, April 27th.

We also need help putting together something fun for the table, such as:

• A raffle basket
• 50/50 drawing
• Gift card giveaway
• Other creative ideas to help engage guests

We have Osprey eggs!!! So exciting!!!

Quick timeline from here:

Now → early May: One parent bird will stay glued to the nest incubating
Mid–late May: Hatching begins
Early June: Tiny chicks may start popping their heads up
Late June–July: Rapid growth and lots of feeding action

The first chick will probably begin hatching around May 18th!

It is amazing to watch this process unfold right in front of us.

Our Annual Charter Night will be held on Thursday, June 4th as we celebrate 75 years of community service!

Please note: Members must RSVP and submit payment by May 7th so we can properly plan for attendee gifts and catering.

Tickets: $25 per Lions Club Member
Guests: Each member may bring one guest (guest ticket must also be paid)

We’re looking forward to a special evening celebrating this milestone together!

Calling all pizza eaters, Lions supporters and Lions volunteers!!!

The Dewey Beach Lions Club, along with Dewey In Bloom, has been invited to participate in a Dine to Donate event at Nicola Pizza on Monday, April 27 from 5:00–9:00 PM. During this time, 20% of all dine-in sales will be donated to support our organizations.

Please help spread the word to your family and friends so we can make the most of this opportunity.

We are also asked to have a table set up with pamphlets and representatives to promote the Dewey Beach Lions Club. Nicola Pizza will provide the table. In addition, we are encouraged to host a silent auction or a 50/50 raffle to raise additional funds.
