I used to reward myself through the joy of making cakes and not the monetary value. Since it no longer brings me joy and interacting with customers it’s just not the same when you’re operating from a monetary standpoint. I officially close this chapter. As 2024 comes to an end I’m ready to close the doors and never look back. Creating artistic edible creations from 13 yrs old to now 29 has provided me with so much healing I would have never experienced without cakes. Cakes was my therapy! From dealing with many deaths, isolation, lingering trauma, and unspeakable pain, cakes has been the way that I heal myself.

Now, in a healed mind and body I refuse to create something just for monetary value for those who don’t appreciate my work. Cakes gave me a space for healing my soul, mind, and my body. Without the opportunity to constantly create from my own internal passion I probably would not be the same person that I am today. I thank God that this was blessed upon me and I asked God to help me walk a little further in this journey. This was a blessing that allowed me to bless others through my own pain. 🎓Its Official, I’m a College Graduate.

I was awarded TWO College Degrees! 👩🏾‍💼One in Hospitality as a 2023 graduate and the second in 👩🏾‍🍳Culinary Arts as a 2024 graduate.

2023 showed me that I was capable of more than I gave myself credit for. 2024 I’m going to be unlocking more doors. Thank you all for supporting my journey over the last 13 years of my cake decorating experience.

Can you believe it’s been 13 years since I made my first cake? I can’t🥹

I am so grateful for every cake that I have made as it has been a part of my growth and development. Being a teacher brings a everlasting joy to my heart on many days. I can’t wait to truly make culinary educator my next certified title. I’m very appreciative and thankful to be in this moment. 💫
