This is going to be a very long and bittersweet post. Please stick around until the end.
On May 29th we will be celebrating our ONE-YEAR anniversary of Doughtown Bagels at Sister Pie (HOLY S**T). It has been an incredible journey, and I want to take the time to say thank you (there are plenty to go around)!
Thank you to Lisa and the entire Sister Pie family for your collective warmth, and generosity in sharing your beautiful space. Thank you to John and Dan at Grandma Bobs for providing us a space to bake each week. Thank you to our amazing team of Sarah, John, and Catherine for their support and hard work, week in and week out. Thank you to each person that lent a hand to bake bagels or make sandwiches over the last twelve months. And thank you to all of you for spending your Sundays with us!
I also want to share that I have decided to end our weekly Doughtown pop up, after our service on Sunday, June 12th. This decision did not come lightly and is incredibly bittersweet. I do not know what the future holds for Doughtown. Regardless of what comes next, I will certainly hold the last twelve months in my heart forever. And for that, thank you!!!
With love and appreciation,
Bagel Brad
