Banana Nut is pure comfort in cupcake form.

This specialty cupcake starts with a banana, pecan, and brown sugar cake that we top with brown sugar cream cheese buttercream, and then finish with pecans and a caramel drizzle for the perfect sweet, nutty finish. Why can’t I just order my custom cake online?

We get this question a lot! And while online ordering might seem quicker and easier, there’s a reason we only take custom cake orders by phone or email. A truly custom cake has a LOT of moving parts...size, servings, flavors, fillings, colors, design details, inspiration photos, wording, pickup time, budget…and sometimes little details you may not even realize are important until we start talking through the order. An online form simply can’t ask the right follow-up questions, and one small misunderstanding can make a BIG difference when we’re creating the centerpiece for your special occasion. That’s why we prefer an actual conversation. And this recent review from a customer who hasn’t even received their cake yet made us smile:

“I have not received the cake yet. We get it in a month, but just from the conversation on the phone to order the cake, it was seamless and I really enjoyed talking to Jeff while I made the order. We look forward to celebrating with this cake.”

That is exactly why we do it this way. We know picking up the phone might take a few more minutes than clicking “Add to Cart,” but our goal isn’t simply to take your order, it’s to make sure we understand exactly what you’re envisioning so that when you finally see your cake, it’s what you hoped it would be. Because when it comes to custom cakes, good communication is part of the recipe!

White Chocolate Macadamia is having a moment, and we fully support it.

We took a soft white chocolate macadamia cake, piled it high with white chocolate chip buttercream, and topped it with more macadamia nuts because apparently “too much of a good thing” is not a rule we follow. This one is nutty, decadent and dangerous around anyone with a sweet tooth.
