Last night, I had the honor of attending the Iowa Restaurant Association awards after being recognized as one of the 40 Women to Watch in the hospitality industry!

It was so special to stand alongside so many incredible women and talented chefs here in Iowa.

It’s hard to believe Mae’s Bagels started just this year, and we’re so excited to keep growing and serving the Des Moines community with fresh bagels and whipped cream cheese!

I truly couldn’t have done this without the support of my friends, family, and the Moxie Kitchen + Events team. Thank you for being such a big part of this journey. We’re just getting started! 🥯

Our second to last Downtown Farmers Market of the season is this Saturday, October 24th!

We’ll be on the corner of 4th & Court from 8 AM–12 PM with fresh bagels and homemade whipped cream cheeses.

UPDATED SUNDAY MENU!

We had a few flavors left over from Saturday that we’re bringing tomorrow!

Limited plain, everything, and jalapeño cheddar for bagels and brown sugar cinnamon, scallion and strawberry cream cheese from Saturday so come early! But plenty of every other.

We had a bee situation today so tomorrow we will be keeping the bagels in totes but they’re still just as good! We also had our tent blow away this afternoon and break, shout out to other vendors around us for their help!! So tomorrow we will pick up the pieces and serve you bagels no matter what!

Covered Bridge Festival weekend is almost here! 🍂🥯

We’ll be there Saturday, October 10th from 9–5pm on Court Ave right across from and Sunday, October 11th from 9–3pm with a full lineup of fall bagels and homemade cream cheeses.

Come grab some bagels, enjoy the festival, and spend the weekend exploring the covered bridges around Madison County!

What a beautiful fall market we had Saturday! Thanks everyone for coming out and grabbing a bagel and cream cheese at the Des Moines' Downtown Farmers' Market!

I saw many of you with Piel Canela from the in your hand 🤭 we can’t wait for our collab with them November 15th at Moxie Kitchen + Events for our first ever Sunday Bagel Brunch!

No pre-orders this week as we prep for a big week ahead for the Madison County Covered Bridge Festival! We will be there on court avenue (same street is on) Saturday 10/10 9am - 5pm and Sunday 9am - 3pm.

We will have different flavors each day during the festival so come one day or both! We can’t wait! 🍂🎃🥯🍎🌾🍁
