We’re baaaaaaaaaaack.

After a way too long sabbatical to kick cancer’s butt, we’re bringing macarons back to this Friday (tomorrow). So if you haven’t gotten your Mother’s Day gift yet, stop in this weekend for a four pack!

I can’t tell you how much I’ve appreciated the support these last few months, and I’m thrilled to be back in Creme and moving toward some normalcy.

Update on my breast cancer journey: We got a promising report last week after surgery! They got clear margins from the removal of the tumor and saw no cancer in the lymph nodes! I have one more week of laying low before I’m hopefully cleared to come back and bake a bit. We will find out about further treatment this week or next, likely leading to some time off in the upcoming months.

We were blown away and continue to be blown away by the support of our community. We appreciate everyone who has reached out and cared for us.

Continue to take care of your neighbors, and get your mammograms.

This fall during my first routine mammogram, I found out I had a mass in my left breast. With a biopsy and testing we found out the mass was cancer. I’ve had so much support from my friends and family during this time and I appreciate it so much, but as orders came in for early this year, I decided it was time to let you guys know I’ll be taking some time off.

I’ll be undergoing surgery in late January and taking some weeks off for recovery from that. We are unsure of the treatment plans after surgery, but it looks like I’ll be able to keep working starting in early February. Crossing my fingers for a fun valentines sale, because I love pink (how fitting).

Check my website for available dates, we keep that as updated as we can with treatment dates crossed off. And ladies, if you’re 40, go get your mammogram.

Do👏not👏sleep👏on👏cranberry👏orange. This is one of my favorite cookies, and cookie 7 of my 12 days of cookies. The tang of the cranberry paired with the floral notes of orange zest and the sweetness of the white chocolate. It all pairs with the buttery crisp cookie so well.
