Celebrating Ann Marie as she wraps up her 3rd decade! Happy birthday Ann! Ann, the force behind baking and pastry, is also an avid gardener, caring chicken keeper and dedicated student. In her “free” time she’s finishing prerequisites for a healthcare degree. We’re so grateful for your support and friendship and hard work Ann, Annie, Anna Banana, Anna Maria! Always fun to reflect on the last year. Forever grateful to our community for their support of our little bakery. And for our staff who work hard every day to keep us going serving customers, baking pastries and decorating cakes. Here is to wrapping up another year and looking forward to all the new year has to bring. Happy New Year!
We will be closed New Year’s Day and back open on Monday.

Wishing you a very Crumby Christmas from this Cake Crumby crew! It takes village to pull off a holiday season and I am very grateful to this village and the few that were already off for their holiday to get get everything out the door. Happy holidays to all!

Happy Thanksgiving! This wraps up my 6th Thanksgiving at Cake Crumbs. I am reminded every year of the amazing abilities of my staff to create and serve our most generous community. I am grateful for the opportunity to steward this neighborhood institution; this mainstay in the lives of many customers and staff. And I am thankful for the support and generosity of so many people.
I looked at pie all week so here is a snapshot of some of the beautiful work that walks out our doors everyday. Not to be outdone by the smile of Andrew, one of our baristas, who celebrates his birthday today. Andrew is a bright light in our day. If you’re lucky you’ll hear him singing along to the tunes played at the bakery. He is a friend to all and a consummate positive spirit. Happiest of birthdays to you Andrew! Enjoy your blue Power Ranger cake… which we’re all anxiously awaiting for the backstory!

Well… our work is done!! We have pies available for walk in purchase. First come, first served!
Open until 6pm for your last minute Thanksgiving feast needs including quiche and take&bake cinnamon rolls. We will be closed Thursday & Friday for a good rest.

It’s that time of the year again! We had a full house at our Pies & Pop Up event last night to kick off our holiday season. We are taking pie orders until Friday 11/18 or before if we sell out.
Choose from pumpkin pie, apple pie, blueberry ginger pie, bourbon pecan pie and chocolate cream pie. Plus… take & bake cinnamon rolls, whole quiche and more!

She works tirelessly at the mixer and diligently at the oven all while keeping us fully stocked in all our baked goods. Happy birthday Quynn! Loved like a little sister, Quynn is everyone’s pal. She leaves sweet notes behind to wish her co workers a good day. Quynn is also a work horse. She juggles studying full time at nursing school with working at Cake Crumbs a couple of days a week. Even though she is tired a lot of the time, she graces us all with her great spirit! Happy 21st birthday Quynn! We hope you got a good night’s sleep 😴

Travis!!! We see Travis on the weekends when he rolls up his sleeves and works in our dish pit cleaning up after, well, everyone. He takes his job very seriously and is territorial over his domain which we are so impressed by and appreciative of coming from this teen. He’s everyone’s little brother around here so heed caution to the practical jokes. Happy happy 16th birthday Travis!! Hope it was a great day!

For many it’s hard to remember a Cake Crumbs without a Zoia. She is such a fixture to this bakery. This week Zoia celebrates 5 years with us. What a journey we have had together! Today she reflected and shared with me the many ways she has grown and the many things she has gained from her experience at Cake Crumbs. I have really enjoyed watching Zoia develop into a leader on our team. She should be so proud! At her interview she told me I would not be disappointed if I hired her. And she was right! Happy anniversary Zoia!!
