Please join us! Katherine's is a European-style bakery and cafe. We specialize in French pastries, quiche, cakes and cookies. Our cafe menu is extensive and is served all day. Breakfast items include freshly-baked croissants in many varieties, including our spectacular almond croissant! Our crepe menu has both savory and sweet choices and, of course, these are made from scratch and fresh to order.

Our lunch menu includes classic and premium gourmet sandwiches, fresh seasonal and local ingredient salads, two made-from-scratch soups every day, and more! Contact Katherine's French Bakery, Cafe & Catering for complete catering services and European-inspired desserts. Experience the difference that Chef Mario and Chef Katherine will bring to your table with their made-from-scratch and fresh-baked goods. Whether savory or sweet, we are "at the ready" to customize a menu for you! Katherine's also offers customized wedding cakes and cupcakes. On the catering side, you may order for delivery or takeout from our menu of gourmet breakfasts (quiche, breakfast rolls, fruit platters) and lunches (boxed lunches and luncheon salads). We serve the Denver-metropolitan area, including Denver, Aurora, Cherry Creek, Downtown and the Tech Center. Katherine's may be rented for special evening events (retirements, birthdays, rehearsal dinners, meetings, etc.). For only $100.00, you may rent our cafe for four evening hours and have a private chef and wait staff at your service. Friday, November 8. We are open! 7am to 3pm (or until the blizzard presents itself). If you are out and about this morning or mid-day, we have quiches, soups (French Onion / Cabbage, Potato with Sausage), and a myriad of other savory and sweet delights. Stock up for the snowy day! Make it easy on yourself.

While we plan to be open tomorrow, let's watch what Mother Nature gives us. We will post on social media...one way or the other.

Look who worked in the pastry kitchen today?! Sarah and her daughter Sam, the lucky winners of an auction item donated by Katherine's to "Be an apprentice for a day!" They were generous in their bid/donation with proceeds benefitting the outreach and mission work at Valor Christian High School in Highlands Ranch, Colorado. These two were so fun to work with! They put in a four hour, non-stop shift and they assisted me with making tartes aux pommes (apple pastry), toasting coconut, baking and decorating gingerbread cookies, baking puff dough to be used later for napoleons, baking our pumpkin pecan bread, and making pate a choux (to be used later for éclairs and more). We sent them home with some choux, the gingerbread cookies (which they decorated with style), some pumpkin pecan bread, and a bunch of late season tomatoes and peppers from our potager. As things go, I often bake alone (since other employees play important rolls throughout the cafe and in our savory kitchen). It was so nice to have the company of Sarah and Sam today! I especially enjoyed hearing about their personal lives and some of the world travel and mission work they have done. Thank you ladies for your good work and cheerful company!
