Amanda's Cookie Cottage is here to supply you with all your holiday cookie needs! I love the process and the result of baking, especially cookies. It's therapeutic for me and makes cookie consumers happy. I make mostly decorated sugar cookies, and traditional cookies such as chocolate chip, peanut butter, and oatmeal chocolate chip. If you have another flavor that you like, just ask about it!

If you're like me you see yummy or cute stuff at the store or for sale somewhere, and you're like "I can make that! I don't need to buy it." 90% of the time this is true! But also 90% of the time, I don't have the time or supplies to do said project. Am I right?

“The days are long, but the years are short.”

The truth and weight of that statement grows clearer to me with each passing day. The love that encompasses my heart for even just ONE of my girls is indescribable to me.

The myriad of emotions, in relation to motherhood, that can encompass me on any given day is also indescribable at times.

I am SO THANKFUL, and SO HUMBLED that I get to be a mother.
I am often brought to my knees with the weight of my calling to shepherd and nurture them. I see my need for a Savior more in my role as a Mother than in any other role, season or challenge I have experienced thus far.

I’m praying for you tonight, fellow Mothers, for I know there are good days, and there are hard days. Praying for your heart, as well as my own, that we do not loose faith or give up the fight. Praying we learn to soak up the Good news of Jesus so we have strength to pour it out on these beautiful little souls.

I am a self taught cookie decorator with no formal training. At this time, I am taking limited orders in the DFW area only. I mostly create decorated sugar cookies and traditional cookies such as chocolate chip, peanut butter, and oatmeal-chocolate chip. If you have another flavor that you like, just ask about it! -I love making custom cookies for baby showers & parties, however, I do not take custom order durning holidays (i.e. Thanksgiving, Christmas, Valentines Day) -I take orders of 2 dozen+ -Delivery is available for a delivery fee based upon location -Shipping is NOT available -Packaging is available for an added fee -For small orders (2-4 dozen), 2 weeks notice is required -For large orders or decorated sugar cookies (5 dozen+), at least 4 weeks notice is required -Prices start at $30/doz. for basic, custom decorated sugar cookies.
