One of our Brothers and his family are in need of our support:
WB Dan Hall of Omega #564 asked me earlier today to post a request for prayers for his 2 year old granddaughter, Delilah. She is the also daughter of Brother Jackson Hall. In May, Delilah had surgery for the removal of a cancerous tumor on her adrenal gland. Surgeons were convinced that they "got it all." A previous scan indicated no spread of the cancer. However, a specialized scan for her type of cancer was recently ordered and it was found that she has cancer cells in both legs, arms, and lymph nodes. An additional scan of her head and neck will occur on Monday.
Dan's daughter-in-law, Melissa has been consulting with a neuroblastoma specialist in NY for a treatment plan. The NY hospital is known as the #1 hospital in the world for this type of cancer.
A number of us have experienced similar health issues with family members, but it is extremely heart- wrenching to hear of a youngster undergoing such serious health issues.
Please keep this young lady and her family in your prayers for clarity, strength, and healing.
As a side note, i am aware of two other brothers who have daughters who have experienced serious health issues during the past year. One is healing and is resuming a normal life. The other continues to seek help to resolve her problem.
Brothers, remember we are a fraternity serving each other and never forget the power of prayer.
