Proof you don’t need a fancy mixer or bread oven to make beautiful loaves. 🤍
I hand mix every single loaf that comes out of my bakery—sometimes up to 60 loaves a week. My “bread oven” is actually a KitchenAid double oven I found on Facebook Marketplace, and I can bake 5–6 loaves at a time in it.
Would upgraded equipment make things faster and more efficient? Absolutely. There are days I dream about having a dedicated mixer and a professional bread oven. But the truth is, those things aren’t what make great bread. Consistency, practice, patience, and passion matter so much more.
One day I hope to have my dream setup, but for now, what I have is enough. It serves me, it serves my bakery, and I’m grateful for every loaf and goodie it helps me bake.
Don’t let the lack of perfect equipment stop you from starting. Start with what you have and grow from there.
