🌾💕 WHY WEDNESDAY: WHY AMISH-MILLED FLOUR? 💕🌾

You see me talk about sourdough, fresh-baked bread, giant cookies and all the fun flavors… but one of the things I’m probably MOST particular about isn’t nearly as flashy. 😂

It’s the flour.

At Meter Made Bakery, I choose Amish-milled flour for my baking because I truly believe that when you start with better ingredients, you end up with better food. Period. 👏

No, it’s not the easiest or cheapest route.

And yes, I could absolutely grab whatever flour is sitting on the closest grocery store shelf and call it a day. 😂

But that’s just not how I want to bake.

🌾 I care about what goes INTO your bread.
🍞 I care about texture and flavor.
💕 I care about feeding your families the same kind of food I’m comfortable feeding mine.
🙌 And I care about doing things intentionally—even when most people would never know the difference.

This weekend officially landed in the TOP THREE best weekends the stand has ever had, and that is absolutely wild to me.

You guys showed up, sold me out of things, came back for restocks, tried new flavors, grabbed your favorites, and just kept supporting this little pink stand in the biggest way. 😭

Every loaf, cookie, cinnie, bagel, jar, and treat that leaves the stand means more than you know.

I work my tail off behind the scenes, but YOU are the reason I get to keep doing this.
