Welcome to Cupcakes are Love. I'm Susanne, founder and baker. I bake custom cakes and cupcakes for events big and small. Got an allergy or dietary restriction? I bake in a nut free kitchen, as well bake Gluten Free, Dairy Free, Vegan or Sugar Fee upon request (and they taste as good as they look!).

CURRENT AVAILABILITY: Please check above or on my website for my current availability. Message me or email [email protected] today to hold your party date.

HOW WE WORK: Generally, it's best to reach out to me at least 4 weeks prior to your date to ensure I'm available to create your cookie or cake design! I book for larger events too - Bar Mitzvahs, weddings etc at least 10 week lead time is recommended as I do book up.

HOW TO CONTACT ME:
Simply send me a FB message telling a bit about your event, the expected number of guests, theme, any dietary needs, and I will respond quickly. I work with you on the design including a sketch /idea board that you will approve so you know what to expect.

Our Story

I’ve been baking as long as I can remember for friends and family and have always toyed with the idea of doing it for real. I’m an ex-concert industry vet turned mom of two and cancer survivor. After several “sort of” starts over the years and a series of less than satisfying corporate/tech start up jobs, I’m back where I belong - a rebel in the kitchen.

We do custom decorated cookies, cakes and cupcakes - I’m always up for adventure. You can purchase one of my standard cookie / cupcake options or we can work together on something unique and fun.
