🎀3D Flower Basket Cake🎀
This cake was a labor of love for my work mom's retirement party today at work. It was my first attempt at a basket weave cake and I'm pretty proud of the end product! The cake was made to look like a hinge top basket. This was a black magic cake with a fudge brownie core. The icing was a chocolate butter cream ganache and peanut butter butter cream. The flowers were made of French vanilla buttercream.

🎀Weekend baking🎀
6 months ago if I had gotten these three cake orders, I probably would have had a panic attack. Three different cakes with 3 very different techniques.
The first one is a Geode cake. It was a fresh strawberry cake filled with French Vanilla butter cream, covered is marbled marshmallow fondant and the geode on the side is made of rock candy. Happy birthday Josh Marsh!
The second cake is a dark chocolate red velvet cake made with double cream cheese butter cream and surrounded by a milk chocolate cage. Rebecca Dishmond I hope your mom loved it!!!
The third is sweet cornbread cake, filled and covered with creamy 4 cheese mashed potatoes and drizzled with brown gravy and topped with fresh fried chicken wings. Happy birthday Josh Barfield!

🎀🐔You know I like my chicken fried🐔🎀
What do you make for a man that hates cake? Well.... this! My husband hates cake! So for is birthday I made him this! It's a sweet cornbread cake with 4 cheese mashed potato "icing" the drizzle on top is brown gravy and yes my friends that would be chicken wings on top! Happy early birthday Joshua Barfield!

🎀🌹Princess Rose Dress Doll Cake🌹🎀
Only cake order I had this weekend so I was really able to make it perfect! This was a cake for my niece Emma. She loves to garden and wanted a doll cake and this is what we came up with! I cannot tell you how amazing it was to get a phone call from her yesterday saying how much she loved it!
This was a French Vanilla cake with French vanilla butter cream. The roses are all hand piped.

Cupcakes for work tomorrow! Triple chocolate fudge cakes with peanut butter buttercream swirled with chocolate ganache and topped with a Reese's peanut butter cup.

🎀Superman, Batman, and Sports🎀
I love doing cakes for twins and love it even more when those twins are related to me! We got to do cakes for twins Noah and Nathan and for their older sister Eden! I love it when girls love sports!
The Superman was a fresh strawberry cake with a French vanilla buttercream and the Batman cake was a fresh Carrot pecan coconut cake with french vanilla butter cream. Both were embellished with fondant detailing. The pretty pink sports cake was a fresh strawberry cake with French vanilla buttercream and fondant detailing.

🎀Flower Bouquet🎀
24 cupcake flower bouquet for the sweetest girl I know! I have wanted to try this technique forever! We did 2 different flavors, triple chocolate fudge cake with espresso buttercream and French vanilla cake with strawberry buttercream. Each cupcake had hand piped flowers; roses, hydrangeas, and sunflowers!

🎀Balloons and Cookies🎀
Cakes from this week, it was a easy week with 2 new clients! Cupcakes for an App state newcomer's 18th birthday and a sweet little smash cake. Man I love my hobby!
The cupcakes were cookies and cream and banana pudding and the smash cake was vanilla with French vanilla butter cream and fondant accents.

🎀Avengers cake🎀
Wow! What an amazing treat it was to work with Melissa Miller on this cake! I have been so excited to do this! My niece loves superheroes and I love it when girls go against the grain! This was a challenging cake, but so rewarding! The bottom layer was our traditional vanilla cake with chocolate chip cookie dough buttercream inside and French vanilla buttercream on the outside, the second tier was our white chocolate mocha cake with white chocolate butter cream and fondant decorations; Thor's hammer, Captain America's shield, Ironman's helmet and The Hulk's fist! Happy Birthday Heather Miller!!!
