I am so sad to say that Magpie will be closed today.

This was an incredibly hard decision for me to make, and honestly, it pains me to do so. I love what I do, I love seeing all of you walk through our doors, and the last thing I ever want to do is let anyone down.

I know some of you were planning to stop in for your Sunday coffee or breakfast, and some of you even took the time to order ahead! That makes this even harder and I am so incredibly sorry.

Please know that I don't take closing lightly. So much of my heart goes into Magpie and having to close our doors for the day is never something I want to do.

Thank you for being patient with us and for continuing to support us. It means more to me and my team than you know.

I'm really sorry we can't be there for you today. I hope you all have a wonderful Sunday, and I hope to see you again soon. ❤️

Unfortunately, we have some not-so-great news. 💔

Magpie will be CLOSED tomorrow, Sunday.

Our hot water heater has gone out, and unfortunately the part needed to fix it has to be ordered and shipped in, which means we aren’t able to safely open tomorrow.

This one hurts a little extra because just last week our walk-in fridge went out, and we had to throw away around $1,200 worth of food. 😭

We’re so sorry for the unexpected closure and appreciate your understanding and support. ❤️

We’re planning to be back open Wednesday, and if you’ve been thinking about stopping in for breakfast, lunch, coffee, or a treat, it would mean the world to us. Your support after a couple of expensive, unexpected equipment failures helps so much.

Thank you for always showing up for Magpie. ❤️ We’ll see you Wednesday!

Also, a quick reminder: We'll be closed this Saturday & Sunday (July 4th & 5th) to give our amazing staff a well earned long weekend to relax and recharge.
