Sanders Bumpy Cake was created by Fred Sanders in the early 1900s. He was running short of buttercream on one of his many test runs, so he decided to put on four ridges. Everyone loved the idea, and the bumpy cake was born.

The cake is made with chocolate devil's food cake, buttercream bumps, and a chocolate ganache. It is a classic confection that has been enjoyed by generations of people.
