As you all know, here at Ida's Classic Confections we strive to bring you the best quality ingredients in all our baked goods. Over the last few months we’ve been looking at local farms to provide us with non factory produced eggs. As you know when they list pasture raised it really doesn’t mean anything in the FDA‘s world so I am proud to announce. I found a local farm outside of Springfield Ohio, which raises their chickens on an all bug outside peck as you wish farm and here’s a couple pictures of the chickens and the eggs and stay tuned. They will be incorporated into our baked goods here within the next week thank you all for your support. I’m so proud that my grandmother, great grandmother and my mom instilled creativity, inquisitiveness and drive to always seek out different things and pursue ideas that might not seem mainstream. I think that’s why when I bake cookies for Ida’s it reminds me of all the ladies in my life who are gone. God bless my mom is still with us and I still get to talk to her, but I’m so proud of them that taught all of us kids to just pursue what you like. Keep going you fall down you get up and you keep going failure is an option. That’s what teaches you success. If you have your own stories of people who helped push you, or allowed you to be creative, let me know in the comment section. I’d love to hear your stories.
