Days like today remind you what really matters, about remembering the men and women who gave everything for this country.

Because of their sacrifice small businesses like ours get the opportunity to do what we love every single day. That freedom came at a cost .. it's not free. And we dont take it for granted.

We’re thankful for every veteran, every active service member and every family that carries that burden with them.

Sold out of Twinkies and meatloaf but we're still rocking up here and have plenty of 'cue to go around. Here's what is left as of 4pm:

The power is out up here, and we’re hoping it comes back on soon. SHECO currently has the estimated restoration time listed at 2:30 this afternoon.

As y’all know, that’s not exactly ideal for meats that need to hold at specific temperatures 😅

We’ve got Brisket and Pork Belly available immediately 🔥

Ribs, turkey, and sausage will be ready as they come off the smoker.

The weekend is finally here! We've got plenty of BBQ to go around and an incredible special for y'all.

Today we're highlighting our Aloha Burger served on a freshly baked Queens Pineapple Hawaiian Brioche Bun by the one and only Chef Natalie Altman

The burger:
Brisket burger patties, Canadian bacon, grilled pineapple, Candied jalapenos, pepperjack cheese, and bbq sauce.

We only did a small batch of the burger buns, so be here early to make sure you get one.

It's raining, it's pouring, but these smokers stay roaring 🌧

We cooked up plenty of the good stuff today. Sliced Pork Belly is a new every day protein .. and we do ours with a sweet heat spice rub. Some people refer to this meat as "Bacon Brisket" because it's trimmed like a brisket & smoked like one, too.

But when you bite into it, man oh man, it just melts in your mouth like some uncured bacon.

Also! Chef Natalie Altman flew down to Texas to join us for the next few weeks to check out the community & see if it's a good fit for her to join our team. She's baked two different cookies for y'all to enjoy:

1) Strawberry Cheesecake
2) Peanut Butter Chip Banana Cream Pie

We hope she decides to stay & helps us create a full on pastry program.

It's been such an incredible day so far. So many familar faces and new ones alike. We've been upping our pars steadily and adding new proteins to the menu, and y'all keep eating it up. We can't thank you enough.

Hey y'all hope everyone's had a great day here's a quick update for y'all.

We have started cooking more food so that we're able to stay open a little later for you guys for dinner service. We still have plenty of the good stuff for you guys. Here's what's left.

3 lbs of sliced brisket
2 lbs of chopped brisket
4 lbs of turkey breast
1½ lbs of sliced pork belly
3 lbs of pork belly burnt ends
8 links of sausage
3 lbs of smoked meat loaf
2 racks of ribs
A dozen Texas Twinkies
9 pieces of smoked bread pudding

And plenty of sides.
