When someone asks for a 3-foot-long wedding cake… you say, “Challenge accepted!” 🫡

This cake I made back in April was 3 feet long and 6 inches wide, which meant we had to make a completely custom cake board to support it. And then came the fun part—getting this giant cake safely over an hour away through the mountains to Charlottesville. 😳

Definitely nerve-wracking, but SO worth it! I love the cakes that make me stop and think, “Okay… how are we going to pull this off?”

When I’m given creative freedom, you already know I’m NOT going simple! 🤪

This 8-inch cake was made to celebrate three birthdays! My dad Tracy’s, my boyfriend Keith’s, and mine! Since our birthdays are all so close together, I decided to make one cake that was completely personalized to each of us.

And of course, each section was decorated specifically for the person it belonged to! Three people, three favorite flavors, three totally different designs… all in one cake.
