On this Meet Us Monday you'll meet the officer behind these posts, your Area II Reporter, Claire Shipp! Claire is from the Chillicothe FFA chapter. For her SAE, Claire runs her own bakery named Sweet Tooth, and works at Dr.Young's Vet Clinic. She has also worked at Francine's Pastry Parlor in Chillicothe, and raised market hogs. Claire has held many leadership roles throughout her high school career. She has served her chapter as Assistant Vice President, Chapter Second Vice President, and she is currently serving as the Chillicothe FFA Chapter President. Claire has competed in division one and two public speaking. She competed at state in the Missouri Young Farmers and Farm Wives speech contest. She also competed on the fourth in state Parliamentary Procedure team. Outside of FFA, Claire is involved in 4-H where she serves as the Busy Bees President, and the Livingston County Counsel Vice President. She works with 4-H youth by serving as the Livingston County 4-H cake decorating leader. Claire is also involved in National Honors Society, Rotary Club, and Volleyball. In the future, Claire plans to attend The University of Missouri to major in agricultural education.
