I love working with fresh fruits when they are in season. They are jucier ,and definitely tastier. I made this macarons with artisan apricot preserve, and enhanced the taste of the apricots by adding some bitter almond paste. A unique and ephemeral creation that you can taste tomorrow at the midtown Sacramento Farmer's market. 🧑
