Happy Christmas week, peeps! The last five years I’ve spent this week hurriedly working to fit in so many cookies and treats to be a part of so many family celebrations. But earlier this year it hit me how much I was missing out on my own family and mental health by trying to run a side hustle alongside a demanding full time job. How many times over the last five years I told my young daughter/husband/friends I just needed to finish one more order. How many snuggles I was missing and books I wanted to read I was never getting to. So I took a break. And then that break got a little longer and now it’s become a bit of a hiatus. Please know I love & appreciate all of you who supported my hustle and made my bakes a part of your special moments! Maybe one day I’ll come back. But for now we snuggle.
