🎣🐟 Talk about a REEL good birthday cake! 😂

Kanyon’s bass cake came out ready to jump right off the board and back into the lake! 😆 From the scales and fins to all that hand-painted detail, this fish definitely got the full Jaime’s Cakes treatment.

No fishing license required for this one… just a fork! 🎂😂

Story time…..

So… apparently I’m VERY ahead of schedule these days. 🤦🏽‍♂️🤣🎂

This morning I got up, finished an order of 24 cupcakes and 12 chocolate-covered pretzels, packed everything up, and went to deliver it for a bridal shower.

I get to the lady’s house, hand her the order, and she looks at me and says…

“The bridal shower isn’t today. It’s September 6th.”

😳

Y’ALL… TODAY IS AUGUST 16TH. 🤣🤣🤣

In all the years I’ve been doing cakes, I have NEVER done this before. Not one day early. Not one week early. I showed up THREE WEEKS EARLY ready for this bridal shower! 😭😂

Thankfully, it all worked out. Her birthday is actually Tuesday, so I told her to keep the 24 cupcakes and enjoy them for her birthday. ❤️ And the chocolate-covered pretzels went with my daughter to dance class, so the dancers are getting a surprise treat today. 😂

And me? I’m going to enjoy my day off and apparently invest in a MUCH BIGGER calendar. 📅🤣

Don’t worry… I already know what I’ll be doing again on September 6th. 🎂😂
