I am so glad you're here! In 2016 I discovered my love for baking when a friend of mine gifted me my very first pastry book ("In the Sweet Kitchen" by Regan Daley) and I began to break out of my comfort zone, making desserts for family parties and my colleagues. Soon, I felt like I was gaining confidence with each dessert I made but I quickly decided I needed more formal training and a better unde

rstanding of the science behind the artistry of pastry, so I headed off to the French Pastry School in Chicago and to L' École Valrhona in Brooklyn. For the last couple of years I had this idea to create a home bakery that's centered around the dessert recipes that I fond and that could bring joy to the people around me. My goal is to make your tastebuds happy!

Tomorrow is the Saturday of the Souls for Greek Orthodoxs and people are preparing kolyva (Κόλλυβα) which is a traditional dish in Orthodox Christian customs, primarily used in memorial services for the deceased.
It is made from boiled wheat, mixed with ingredients like sugar, nuts, raisins, pomegranate seeds, cinnamon, and sometimes sesame or herbs, then often decorated with powdered sugar and a cross on top.
