We’re Josh and Michelle – a husband and wife team who have come together to make this small cupcake-loving business a reality. As for Josh? He’s the quality control manager (taste-tester), financial analyst, business manager, maintenance technician, packaging engineer, inventory control specialist, and marketing assistant. ake Company would be incomplete. We don’t own and operate a storefront (not yet, anyway). Our business is run out of our petite 1930’s renovated schoolhouse just south of Dalmatia, PA. The Cupcake Company has grown so much in the 4 years that we have been here, and this home has shaped our business into what it is today – it’s a part of who we are. We take pride in our product. Never overstated, our cupcakes are simply crafted so the flavors and ingredients get the spotlight they deserve. We hope you feel the same. We want to thank you for supporting us. Every encounter and interaction we have with our customers holds a very special place in our hearts. We simply could not do this without you. May you find yourself smiling with each bite you take as you taste the care, love, and passion in each cupcake. That’s all we could ever ask for.

Smucker Gardens is hosting their annual Pumpkin Festival on October 11, and we are thrilled to say we will be there! Yes, we will fill our entire vehicle with cupcakes so we can stay in the game as long as possible 😅

We will be at Smucker Gardens on Friday, February 7th, from 5pm - 9pm for their annual Galentine's bash!

2025 feels like the year of a slow-down for us.

This sentence has been heavy on our hearts. The act of constant hustle and achieving balance between full-time careers, two busy little boys, and this part-time cupcake love affair is feeling difficult to juggle. And so, we have decided to close our book for the remainder of the year.

BUT..

If you have a confirmed, pending, order with us for 2025 or 2026 (wedding, event, celebration, etc.), your order is very solid. No need to reach out; we have you covered! If you have a gift card you are free to place an order at any time. There are numerous Smucker Garden events (February, April, October, November) we are booked for this year, so you will still have the chance to grab our cupcakes! Lastly, if there is a celebration anytime in 2025 that you were hoping to have our cupcakes for (whether it is in 1 month or 9 months), we are keeping our book open for 1 more week to book orders. Please send us a message with a date (details not necessary at this time) and we will put you in!

This part time gig really does make our hearts so incredibly happy. We will always appreciate every single one of you. It is a true blessing that demand has gotten SO high that we’re busting at the seams. We don’t know what the future looks like (childcare help, career direction), but our hope is to return soon if the load lightens enough to allow us to do so.

We look forward to kicking of the Christmas season at Smucker Gardens Winterfest! This stellar event is happening on Saturday, November 30 (Small Business Saturday!) from 8:30 – 4:00. Come join us to shop the lineup of fantastic local vendors, peruse the beautiful Christmas flowers, grab your Christmas tree, sip on a cup of delicious hot coffee, and grab a gooey s’more (or 2). There will also be cupcakes! Don’t miss the debut of our limited time Christmas flavors. See you there! 🎅🏼
