#repost Two Medium Sized Ladies Aprons] On the set of Food Network show DALLAS CAKES interviewing our lovely bakery owner from @societybakery in a former life not that long ago as a Food TV producer. I’ve always loved aprons and had a great producing career. But after attending culinary school, producing Food TV became the best gig ever! And this is when wearing an apron on a regular basis became a necessary habit. Preparing swap outs, setting up products, working with powdery, sugary foods in a professional kitchen and helping setup final shots with real cake is guaranteed to get a bit messy (and absolutely delicious). But I couldn’t find an apron I loved. “Necessity is the mother of invention” is so true. When I created our line of retro designer aprons, I had functionality in mind - but also wanted to create something fashionable, beautiful and that carries a vintage vibe! Check out our original design aprons, once you buy one you’ll crave more. Moving from Food TV producer to making aprons came as such a natural next step it’s the best happy ending ever.
