What a wild ride it has been moving from cottage bakery to our brick and mortar!

I’m so proud of our team and all of their hard work to bring this vision to life. In many ways, we are still finding our footing — figuring out the systems and trying to find balance, especially as we head into busy season. I look back on the past three months of being open (it feels like years lol), and I see how far we’ve come and all of the love pouring in and out of this bakery.

I really believe that we are building something special here in Dallas. A space of care, joy and connection, and the world desperately needs that right now. Thank you for being along for the ride with us!

Exciting news! Our bread slicer is up and running AND we’re adding a new sandwich to the lineup tomorrow — our Cape Malay curried chicken salad sandwich! Made with poached halal chicken breast, Cape Malay curry powder, raisins, scallions, mayo, yogurt, and Mrs Ball’s chutney (iykyk), served on our country sour.

We think y’all are going to love it! That and our biltong sandwich will be served at 11:30. See you tomorrow!
