Suga Chelle’s exists because of this beautiful Queen, my mother Olivia Barnes Gary aka OBG. She is with the Lord now, and I know she is baking pound cakes & making her famous sweet tea with lemon with the angels! The definition of a real mother. She gave us unconditional Love and tough Love. She was right by my side through every trial and tribulation that I experienced until the day that she died. She gave me so much wisdom. If she said it, it’s law! Somethings I didn’t quite understand, but she told me if I just keep on living, I would get it. You were right momma❤️

Unfortunately, I didn’t learn how to cook as well as I could have because in my younger years, I never imagined that she would be gone so soon. We must live life to the fullest because we never know the day, nor the hour that we will ascend to the afterlife. Fortunately, I did learn to bake and I can cook a few meals that go hard when I am in the mood to cook, for sure. I definitely know my way around the kitchen! Mama always told me that it was in me. Well Suga Chelle’s logo and all my recipes are inspired by her! Olivia Gary is and will forever be phenomenal woman & she was a phenomenal cook!! She put the Suga in the Chelle! She encouraged me!

Everything she said to me, eventually came to pass. She was right about people, fake friends, family issues, betrayal, people’s motivesI was Loved so well, that envy, vengeance, betrayal, and fake friends shocked me. I was raised on Love and good food, not survival and mean spiritness. I shared my mom with many. To know her was to Love her! My and are in place. Mama taught me to bake and gave me life lessons straight, no chaser. She was respected to the fullest! Olivia Barnes Gary, the epitome of a strong black Queen and Amazing mama. Your Love and legacy will not die as long as I have breathe in my body, mama🕊️🤍.

I don’t bake consistenly because my heart has to be in it to ensure that my desserts are the same quality as hers were! We use the freshest, best Ingredients and follow food handling guidelines to a T! Thank you mama! I know you’re watching over us! -thang
