Venting!!!!
We have;
Posted requests everywhere,
PRAYED,,, PAID,
begged, asked our customers/staff for referrals, offered bonus incentives , etcā¦.To no avail!
We have resorted to using our bakers children, ours included, for help on Saturdays and when they arenāt in school. They are in Training and THIS is their 1st Job. They are learning the skill of Customer Service each time they ask ā Can I help youā or answer the phone.
Iāve read on Yelp and other review sites how Steinās is āGoing Down Hillā etcā¦ and sometimes I agree!!
The employees that do show up 6 days a week work really hard and are tired!
I SINCERELY APOLOGIZE FOR OUR FAULTS, AND CONTINUE TO PRAY FOR QUAILITY APPLICANTS TO MAKE YOUR EXPIRENCE WITH US BETTER!!!! WE have been BLESSED with 2 new people since this began in 2021, and WE ARE ,SO GRATEFUL to have them ( Marta and Isel). However, We need a few more Good, Dependable people, (I think theyāre all driving for Door dash and Uber, be your own boss sort of)!
We purchased a beautiful new POS ( Point of Sale System ) In March. Itās supposed to bring us up to date in ALL AREAS. No lost orders, wrong dates etcā¦ THE THINGāS THAT PLAGUE US! The system sits in unopened boxes because of the seasons and I need a day off to do laundry and be with my family and pets.
Not making Excuses, just at my Wits end!
If the phone isnāt answered on the 3rd ring or so, itās because there are folks standing in front of the counter that want our attention. If the email isnāt answered right away itās because Weāre working on someoneās order, or the phones or the customer in the store. ( weāre the ones that answer the emails).
We work hard and we Really do try to do a good job!!! We only ask for Patience during this crazy time!
WE REALLY DO APPRECIATE ALL OF OUR CUSTOMERS, Longtimers and Newcomers AND WE WOULDāNT STILL BE HERE WITHOUT ALL OF YOU!!!
