👩🏽🍳 Meet the baker!
Hi!! Most of you already know me, but if you’re new here- I’m Bridgette Brouillette, owner of Bakery Noire!
About me: I’m a Dallas transplant, originally from a small farm town in Northern Indiana 🌽 I work in architecture, and spend tons of my free time sewing and quilting (over at Bridgette - Modern Maker 🪡 !)
I have my grandma to thank for my love of desserts. She celebrated every occasion, whether it was a birthday, a holiday, or simply making it through an ordinary Tuesday. Usually, that meant cake, sometimes it meant pulling an emergency pie from the freezer 😅 And always ending the day with a bowl of ice cream 🍨
BN was built off the idea that desserts can be more than sweets: they can be art, an homage to the most important parts of life, and most of all an experience to share 🫶🏼
