So good, everyone wants a Second Round!

We are going to pause Second Round for a bit. When you’re baking more cookies than you have square feet, it can be a challenge and it’s just not the kind of challenge we are looking for right now! We have always dreamed of Second Round Bakery having a permanent physical space and that is still the goal. We don’t know when, and we don’t know where, but we will make that happen someday. For now, we get to keep baking and developing new treats!

For Ste. Genevieve area only: we will be doing a pick up of our cookie jars on the morning of 12/20. They are $20 each or 2 for $35. Each jar makes 12 large cookies (just add butter and eggs). Please direct message us if you are interested!

We are really (REALLY) bad at social media, but we’re still here and still shipping cookies! Order through the Etsy link in our bio and enjoy cookie goodness without heating up your kitchen.

BIG NEWS! We are now on ! You can find our cookie mix and cookies in our Etsy shop (SecondRoundBakery). Shipping is free, as always!

We will be switching to Etsy as our online ordering platform for now. This means you can order cookies whenever you want, you don’t have to wait for Tuesday shipping! We also hope to start to expand our offerings, so stay tuned!

We normally take a month off at the beginning of the year. This gives us time to test new recipes, catch up on paperwork, and analyze our process. This year we are taking February off! Our last ship day for a bit will be 1/28, but we will be back at it for 3/4. Thanks for understanding!

Cookie mix jars are LIVE on our website! If you’re looking for the perfect Thanksgiving hostess gift, this is it!

Each jar ships in its own box and you can even choose the ribbon theme (Thanksgiving, Christmas, birthday, etc.). Jars will start shipping on 11/19 but feel free to go ahead and get your orders in for Thanksgiving. Only orders placed by noon on Wednesday, 11/20 will guarantee arrival before Thanksgiving. All other orders will ship as they are received!

We are still shipping out our cookies every Tuesday, too!

Pumpkin bread kit pre-ordering is live (SecondRoundBakery.com)! Each kit includes almost everything you need to make two generous loaves of pumpkin bread, just add eggs and oil. Order now for pickup at starting October 26th. We will have a few available for purchase, but the best way to ensure you get your pumpkin bread baking fix is to pre-order for pickup. Pre-ordering will close on October 21st.

These are only available for Ruston pickup. We will not be shipping these kits but stay tuned for pickup and purchase locations and shipping options our cookie mixes!

Hi all! We’d love your thoughts. We are thinking of offering our cookie mix (just add eggs and butter!) and pumpkin bread kits again this year. They’d be available for shipping and perhaps even a one time pick up day in Ruston. What do you think, should we do it? Please let us know in the comments, if we get enough interest we will certainly run with it!

All nestled in for their trip! As schools get back in session, don’t forget that cookies are a great way to send your homesick college student a long-distance hug.
