I had a blast catering Hearth Wisdom Store Dessert & Divination event!! I'm absolutely besotted with how beautiful everything looked on the table. 😭

Desserts pictured: Russian Pryaniki* cookies, Pumpkin Chocolate Chip cookies, Soul Cakes**, and beautiful Pentacle Tartlets in variety flavors.

*Pryaniki is one of the oldest cookies from Russia and a staple in their history, it's similar to a gingerbread but BETTTTER.

** Soul Cakes are traditional English cookies made with warm spices, fruits and nuts. They are made for the Celtic Pagan festival Samhain, Halloween, All Saints Day, and All Souls Day.

Ube* Purple Sweet Potato Crinkle Cookies!!

These are a hit wherever I take them! Nothing beats this unique subtle flavor, and scrumptious texture. I got introduced to Ube during my travels to Seoul, Korea and I couldn't forget it! 💕

*Ube is the Filipino word for a kind of purple colored yam, a root vegetable found in the tropics!

Mini Blackberry Pistachio Frangipane Tartlets- Pâte Sucrée (Sweet Shortcrust pastry) tartlets filled with a delicious baked pistachio creme and Blackberry jam.

Tarts have a special place in my heart; they started my pastry journey, I made a White Wine Spiced Poached Pear Frangipane Tart for my family on Christmas in 2020. I remember I couldn't even get the shell out of the pan but it tasted delicious everyone loved it, and now I look at my pastries and I'm so proud of how far I've come. (I'll add a comparison story for those curious )

Strawberry Grand Marnier Cake- Vanilla Sponge soaked in French Grand Marnier syrup, strawberry jam filling with buttercream frosting coated in toasted almonds.

I am so overwhelmed by the outpour of support I've received from my family, community and especially the friends that I haven't spoken to in ages who are still here cheering me on. 🖤
I truly appreciate the support from you all, without you guys this dream would have never gotten to this point. 💪

Just a little update: I've been editing and baking nonstop last night and today so I can get a perfect first menu set. It's almost ready and I can't wait for the big reveal! 🍰
