Although I sold a lot of cheesecake during my last round, I had more people reach out to me about the next time I make banana pudding. 👀
Since I still have a vacation to pay for in July, let’s do another sale!
*These orders will be ready in Edgewood on Thursday, June 19th or Friday, June 20th.

We want to avoid having to stop orders and we are trying to be more prepared for December. With that said, we plan to have 4 delivery dates available in December! December 20th delivery is for any EISD employees ONLY. Please be understanding if delivery dates become unavailable and if we ask you to pickup on a different date. It’s impossible and stressful to accommodate to 50+ dozen tamales for one delivery date. If you require a specific date, please consider ordering ASAP!

You might notice we went up from $16 to $18 per dozen. We wanted to start at $16 to get our name/tamales out there. At the beginning, my mother in-law agreed to cut the price to $16 temporarily in order to achieve that while taking a financial loss due to grocery prices. ⁉️🫔Can Tamales Freeze🫔⁉️

This is the most asked question I get and the answer is….yes! You can absolutely freeze your tamales if you’re not eating them the same day. I’ve been told they can last up to 6 months in the freezer, but who can wait that long?!? They do amazing frozen. You can simply warm them back up in the microwave, air fryer, or (the most recommended method) a steamer pot.
If not frozen, tamales must be eaten between 5-7 days after delivery. Ours are always steamed fresh on delivery date!

‼️ANNOUNCEMET‼️
The last time you heard from me, I had just accepted a substitute position at Edgewood ISD. Many are aware but for those of you that don’t know, I recently accepted a full-time position with Edgewood ISD. I officially started my position this past Monday. What this means for my baking business is that I will now have even less time to bake. I haven’t officially decided what I am going to do about my baking business, but as for now I will continue to stay “open” although I am currently not taking orders. I may or may not strictly do pop up events. Honestly by the time I get home, I’m wiped out from the day. 😅
I will keep y’all posted once I figure it all out! 💚
