We’re going to be a little vulnerable today.
This picture was taken on our opening day back in 2024. Two people, a little bookstore, a big dream, and absolutely no idea just how much this community would change our lives. 💕
When we opened Night Owl, we hoped to create more than a bookstore. We dreamed of building a place where people could gather, discover new stories, meet friends, talk about books, try something new, and feel welcome.
And because of all of YOU, that dream has grown bigger than we ever imagined.
Our book clubs have grown. Our events have grown. Our community has grown. And now Night Owl is preparing for our biggest chapter yet — moving into a larger space where we can bring you more books, more events, more drinks, and more room to gather.
But we also want to be honest: growth is exciting… and it’s also expensive. Moving a small business comes with a lot of behind-the-scenes costs, and right now we’re feeling those growing pains.
