My best friend and me went on an impromptu shoot at sunset a couple weeks ago. By the time we were done taking pictures the sun had just completely gone down and we were absolutely freezing. Honestly, I didn’t get as many pictures as I wanted to because it’s been a while since I’ve used my nice camera and we went so late that I did not have good lighting. But I’m happy I got a couple good ones. @ Cypress, Texas

Star Wars/Galaxy Cake
I did this cake for a friend of mine from work for her son, Elijah who turned 6!!
This was a interesting cake to do. It’s been a while since I’ve done a cake so somethings kind of took me longer because of that. I made the a strawberry cake from scratch and I was so excited because I’ve never made a Strawberry cake from scratch. Plus it was from my favorite cake website so I thought how can I go wrong. But sadly it ended up not tasting good so last minute my mom helped me by rebaking the cakes while I was at work as I had a bit of a little crunch and wanted to start decorating on it when I got off from work. it was really fun to mess with the gold leaf on a cake. I have done a little bit of gold leaf on macaroons before but never on a cake. It was a little bit hard to deal with because it breaks super easily. And the day before I had to deliver the cake I stayed up pretty late till like 2 AM doing it. And then I worked the next morning at like 7 o’clock. Kudos to my mom for being so sweet and letting me go to sleep and cleaning up the kitchen and being my helper the whole way through.

These are pictures I took last Wednesday. Today I am just getting around to editing and uploading them.

When everything calms down with Covid-19, I would not mind doing some photoshoots for anyone. It was really fun!

Last-minute after finishing all my school for the semester. I popped into the Michelle Morris McKissick's house and decided to ask if Mary Grace McKissick or Abbey McKissick wanted to be my model for an impromptu photoshoot. Somehow on a hot day I convinced Abbey to wear a big fluffy formal dress. I took those photos around our neighborhood and neighborhood park.
