☀️ Summer is here, Happy Memorial Day!

As the slower, sweeter days of summer begin, South Miller Sweets is going to look a little different this season — and honestly, I couldn't be more at peace with that.

This summer I'm soaking up every possible moment with my family, including some very precious time with my little boy before he walks through those kindergarten doors in the fall. 🥹 These days are fleeting and I don't want to miss a single one.

So while I'll be baking a little less often, I'll be making it count. Each month will bring a carefully curated menu — small batch, made with love, and worth the wait.

Kicking off June with:
🍓 Strawberry Sugar Cookie
🍫 Chocolate Chocolate Chip Cookie
🧡 Butterfinger Cookie

Teacher Appreciation Week feels extra special this year. 💗

Today we dropped off a little something sweet for two teachers who have loved our boy so well over the years. Teachers pour so much of themselves into our kids every single day — their patience, creativity, encouragement, and kindness truly shape little lives in ways they may never fully realize.

As a parent, there’s nothing more comforting than knowing your child is cared for, celebrated, and safe when they walk into a classroom. We are so thankful for the teachers who do that every day.

If you have a teacher you love this week, remind them how appreciated they are. And maybe bring them something sweet too. 🫶🍪
