🍕 These are roughly 10” pizza with a thicker bubbly crust. Thanks to that healthy sourdough starter and a perfect fermentation and rise.

🌶️ Jalapeno cheddar rolls have been added. These have a little heat topped with hot honey and flaky salt. These would be perfect to pair with chili or soup on a day like today.

Looks like it’s going to be a bit of a gloomy one today. We’ll have the door closed if there’s heavy rain but the door will be unlocked.☔️

Come grab a cinnamon roll and all the goodies so you can head back home to cozy up on the couch with a warm cinnamon roll.☕️

That 🫧 though! 👀

Sourdough soft sandwich loaves have been an absolute hit lately.🥖

We’re going to try having 3 flavors of the soft sandwich loaves each week so we can offer a good variety.🧄

We’ve had a few people reach out for English muffins. I’ve heard you! I’m hoping to get a few back on the shelves tomorrow, but they won’t be your classic ones. Think something versatile. Something to use for a good cold cut sammy at lunch, or something that’ll bring in lots of flavor for that breakfast sammy.🍳🧀🥓

Back with a final review of the fresh milled flour pasta we made.🌾

We used durum wheat berries for this batch, milled in our harvest grain mill, and whipped up a batch of spaghetti, and fettuccini noodles. Topped with meat sauce and a homemade alfredo sauce.🍝

It’s always mind blowing to us how much more full we get when switching one main ingredient to fresh milled flour.🤯

Our sweet little babies snacking, making lots of happy noises, and finding bugs. They’re sticking closer together the last few days since MooMoo has been missing for a few days (their man, our only drake we had). Sadly, we think a fox got him.🥺

Many rewards come with homesteading, but you often face harsh reality and loss. It’s not for the weak. Tonight I soaked up some sweet time with the girls and an amazing sunset.🦆🦆🦆

To finish off the evening, we’re testing out fresh milled flour breadsticks and fresh milled flour pasta. Will report back tomorrow with final results.🍝🌾
