It's with a heavy heart that I am announcing Bite Me by Deena will be taking a hiatus. Baking and creating delicious treats will remain a passion but not a focus. My focus will be on raising our family. Thank you to all that let me play a role in birthdays, anniversary and milestone celebrations.

My son may be labeled an angsty teen now, but he speaks my cake language. Orange cake with pineapple whipped frosting!!! Soooo yummy!!! We actually had orange cake as one of the flavors of our wedding cake!!!

My baby is turning 8!!! This one had a lot of detail, and the more I added, the more the birthday girl loved it!!

Sometimes it's the most simple cakes that are the most fun to make!! This is definitely one of my favorites for a 1st birthday celebration!!
S'mores cake: Death by chocolate cake, filled with marshmallow creme, Graham crackers and chocolate chunks covered in marshmallow buttercream. It was so fun to make I even made one for our company coming over tonight!!
