That’s a wrap folks 👋🏼❤️🩹
Two years ago The Rolling Scone started as a small idea on a whim in my tiny home kitchen. I was going through a quarter life crisis looking for a change when I told my husband, “I’m going to start a bakery” and he responded, “you don’t even know how to bake” 😂 Two weeks later, in true Emma fashion, I had taught myself how to bake, and decorate a cake. My sister in law says im annoying because I have a knack for picking things up pretty quickly. And just like that, voilà! The Rolling Scone was born.
Closing my small bakery has been a heart break I wasn’t expecting to feel. For the past few weeks many have asked if I would be sad, and I kept saying no way! (If you own a business you know your phone rings 25/8). But now, as I locked the door one last time, all I could think was… I wish this never had to end.
So if you’re wondering what’s next… me too! I’ve had quite a few people ask if I will be baking out of my house again, and to that I say… maybe! I plan on taking some time away from social media and deactivating for a little while post new year. It seems like a great time to reset and relax for a little bit.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart if you’ve read this far. I owe all of you all of the love and adoration you’ve shown me for the last two years. Stay tuned for what’s next! 🤎🍪
