So I’m adding Sourdough Cornbread to tomorrow’s Bread Drop!

Made with organic cornmeal, honey, butter and buttermilk, then given an overnight cold ferment to get all that sourdough goodness working.

Test loaf today! 🌾🍞

I’ve been working on a Whole Wheat Sourdough Sandwich Bread, and this was today’s test loaf. Soft, tender, beautifully sliceable, with a rolled oat crust and plenty of whole wheat flavor.

Incredibly soft with a tender crumb, a hint of sweetness from honey and molasses, and just enough whole wheat flour to give it that classic hearty flavor without feeling dense! For a whole wheat loaf, I am pretty darn happy with this one.

A few tweaks perhaps, because that’s what test loaves are for, but I think this one might be headed for the bakery menu! If you would like to try a couple slices of this test loaf, message me.

Monday Pizza Crust preorder post!
This weeks featured flavor is Peach & Bacon White Pizza with Ricotta, it’s gooey and cheesy, garlicky, loaded with juicy, sweet peaches, and has a salty bite from crumbled bacon. It’s how the end of summer pizza should be done!

~ Sourdough Pizza Crust ~ (1lb/-6)

-Orders need to be in by TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 8th, at noon, for pickup WEDNESDAY, September 9th, between 3 - 6pm
-This is enough dough to make one good size pizza depending on how thick the crust is
-It will keep up to four days in the refrigerator

Even on my day off, I somehow ended up right back in the kitchenπŸ₯° Sourdough Apple Cake and Blueberry Crumble Muffins, plus a nice wholesome chicken salad and homemade mac & cheese. Just good food for the people I love and a Labor Day weekend spent around the table.

This week’s pre-orders are being baked, boxed, and are nearly ready for pickup. As always, I baked a few extra goodies, and those are now available on a first come, first served basis.

Pickup is this morning from 9:00 to 11:00 or sold out at Sweet, Savory & Sourdough, 230 Georgia Ave, CB. Of note ~ the pop up is inside my front door, just walk in. Accepted methods of payment in the comments.

Ohhhh, these are GOOD! 🧑

Soft, chewy snickerdoodles made with Spicewalla’s Pumpkin Spice, one of my absolute favorite spice blends. Warm fall spices, buttery cookie goodness, and that classic snickerdoodle crinkle.

These smell every bit as good as they taste!

🍌🍁 Salted Maple Banana Sourdough Sweet Bread 🍁🍌

This is NOT your old-fashioned banana bread!

Deeply moist and buttery, made with ripe bananas, brown sugar, maple syrup, and a touch of molasses for a rich, caramel-like sweetness. A sprinkle of flaky sea salt finishes it off and balances all that goodness.

This one takes banana bread in a whole different direction, and I knew the minute I saw this combination of flavors that I had to bake it for y’all!
