Bourbon Glazed Brussel Sprouts

Cook time: 40 mins
Yields: 8 servings
Ingredients:
2 lbs Brussels sprouts, cleaned and halved
4-6 tbsp sesame oil
Seasonings: Slap Ya Mama, onion, garlic powders, salt, and black, red pepper
3 tbsp butter
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/3 cup hoisin sauce
1/3 cup brown sugar
1 tsp ginger paste
1 tsp garlic paste
Toppings: French's onion strips or bacon
Directions:
1 Preheat oven to 400°F. Toss halved Brussels sprouts with sesame oil and seasonings. Spread on a baking sheet, cover with foil, and bake for 20 minutes. Remove foil and bake for another 20 minutes until crispy.
2 While roasting, combine butter, soy sauce, hoisin sauce, brown sugar, ginger and garlic paste in a saucepan over medium heat. Simmer until thickened.
3 Toss the roasted sprouts into the glaze, transfer to a dish, and top with French's onion strips and any extra desired toppings.
