An after breakfast shift treat for my dedicated volunteer sous chef and staff.
This has become an annual event with Everything Bagel Ice Cream!!! Topping two scratch made healthy Belgium waffles, lightly buttered with lightly crispy chicken tenders with scoop of the delicious cream cheese based ice cream with all of the flavors of an everything bagel and topped off with a drizzle of pure maple syrup! That’s my way to show appreciation 😋🤤

We working hard to ensure our guests still receive the best services we have to offer, so I decided to start posting our scratch made meals for breakfast and dinner. We are still making the same quality meals minus salad. Everyone deserves the quality & dignity of a good meal.

Week 2 - essential workers (only 3 chefs working 4:30am-6:30pm daily - Paul Pelt, Marcus May and myself along with 2 dynamic volunteer sous chefs Laura Barrantes and prepared this Breakfast at Miriam's Kitchen for our guests: French toast, fresh fluffy scrambled eggs with mixed cheddar, home fries, and fresh fruit salad. 😋. Leftover makeover! This is what I put together when there’s 1 leftover 6” cake, caramel cream cheese frosting, Mexican chili chocolate and butter toasted pecans with kosher salt for a little something to satisfy a taste for something sweet. Oh, a don’t forget a small scoop of vanilla bean ice made a fews days ago😉 @ Edgewater, Maryland

Create a one of a kind cake [email protected] her favorite things: 2 layers of chocolate cake with dulce de leche and toasted pecans in the middle, separated with caramel cream cheese frosting, topped with more caramel frosting, dulce de leche & Chile Mexicali’s chocolate drizzles and topped with more toasted pecans and chili chocolate shavings! How do you say Happy Birthday to your pastry chef? You bake him a one of a kind cake he’s never had and you’ve made for the first time! 😉 And you taste it at the same time he does. 😜. That cake is a Cookie Butter (Speculoos) Cake. Vanilla cake layered with cookie butter, peanuts and lemon cream cheese frosting. Might’ve my new fav.
