When one of your long-time followers finally decides to splurge on a custom birthday cake, you make sure it's worth the wait.

My client's request was a cake with a 𝘉𝘳𝘪𝘥𝘨𝘦𝘳𝘵𝘰𝘯 vibe, and I immediately fell in love with the idea. Soft Tiffany blue buttercream, touches of gold, and an abundance of vibrant orchids came together to create a cake that felt elegant, romantic, and just a little bit dramatic—exactly what Lady Whistledown would approve of.

I especially love how the bold fuchsia orchids pop against the soft blue backdrop, creating a design that feels both regal and tropical at the same time.

Thank you for following my work all these years and trusting me to create your birthday centerpiece. It means so much when someone who has watched from the sidelines finally decides it's their turn to celebrate with a custom cake.

I hope you had a wonderful birthday!

This patriotic beauty was created to celebrate First Class Midshipman Ryan Hinrichs as he took the oath and became Ensign Hinrichs.

Featuring the American flag, a Naval Academy crest, and a traditional officer's cover, this cake was designed to honor both his accomplishment and the commitment to service that comes with earning a commission.

Commissioning Week is always special because these cakes celebrate more than a graduation. They mark the beginning of a new chapter of leadership, service, and responsibility.

Congratulations to Ensign Hinrichs, and thank you for choosing me to be a small part of such an important milestone.

Before I headed off to Italy, I finished several cakes for Naval Academy Commissioning Week, and each one deserves its own spotlight.

This cake was created to celebrate a First Class Midshipman taking the oath and becoming Ensign Triplett.

I loved the simplicity of this design. The soft blue buttercream, classic rope piping, and bold Navy "N" made for a clean and timeless cake that felt perfectly suited to the occasion. Sometimes less really is more.

Congratulations to Ensign Triplett on reaching this incredible milestone after four years of hard work, dedication, and sacrifice. Wishing you fair winds, following seas, and success as you begin your naval career. ⚓️

Commissioning Week at the Naval Academy is officially here, and the first cake has been delivered!

This week is always one of my busiest of the year, with some families reserving their spots nearly a year in advance. (If you have a 2027 graduate, this is your sign to start planning now! 😉)

This cake was created to celebrate an incredible milestone and featured:

⚓️ Bottom tier: confetti cake with raspberry compote filling covered in vanilla buttercream
⚓️ Top tier: chocolate cake filled with chocolate ganache and coated with cookies and cream buttercream, then finished in vanilla buttercream

Congratulations to this soon-to-be commissioned officer and their family on such an amazing accomplishment!

Sixty highland cows.
One-hundred and twenty horns.
One-hundred and twenty ears.
Sixty snouts.
Four color combinations.
Zero sleep. Literally.

If I do not make another order like this for at least a year, I think I’ll be just fine… but honestly, look at these little faces. They were worth every exhausted second.

These shaggy little highland cow cupcakes went out to celebrate a baby boy on the way, and I am wishing all the best to the proud parents as they prepare to welcome their newest little cowboy into the world!

This cake was created for a law school graduation party and featured hand sculpted and hand painted scales of justice in gold for a simple but meaningful design.

After years of hard work, studying, and perseverance, there was definitely reason to celebrate this accomplishment in style. Congratulations on graduating law school and best wishes for all that comes next! 🎓

Simple and Stranger Things are two phrases that really do not belong together.

After the last Stranger Things cake I made, I ended up binge-watching the entire series… and now I’m fully invested in Hawkins drama. So when a request came in for a “simple” cake inspired by the Christmas lights Will used to communicate from the Upside Down, I may have gotten a little carried away.

The vintage wallpaper print from the Byers’ house? Had to include it.
The messy hand-painted alphabet? Obviously.
A cassette featuring “Should I Stay or Should I Go?” because of Will and Jonathan? Absolutely.
And of course, Eggo waffles for Eleven because some details are non-negotiable.

Happy birthday to this fellow Stranger Things fan! I hope your day was totally bitchin’.

There’s always a little extra adrenaline when a wedding cake has to be completed on-site… especially when guests are mingling just beyond the glass doors while you’re stacking and decorating under pressure.

I usually deliver tiered wedding cakes fully assembled, but this beauty was simply too heavy for me to carry fully stacked, so I finished it at the venue — only the second time I’ve ever had to do that!

Set inside the stunning White's Ferry Manor, this elegant floral wedding cake was designed to serve 150 guests and featured:
• Two tiers of rich chocolate cake filled with salted caramel and covered in vanilla buttercream.
• One tier of espresso cake filled with chocolate ganache and covered in mocha buttercream.

Finished with delicate textured buttercream, soft spring florals, and pearl details for a romantic, timeless look.

There’s something so rewarding about seeing a cake finally come together in the space it was designed for — especially in a venue this beautiful. Congratulations to the happy couple, and thank you for trusting me to be part of such a special day.

When a “silly goose” cake turns a little more dapper.

I was asked to recreate my viral Instagram goose cake (still wild to me at 22K+ views!)—but this time for a baby boy and in a slightly larger version. So of course, we swapped the bow for a bow tie… because this little guy has style already.

Set against the sweetest blue-and-white setup, this cake was the perfect centerpiece for a beautiful baby dedication.

Flavors inside: rich chocolate cake, raspberry compote filling, and almond buttercream.

Proof that even a “silly goose” can clean up pretty nicely.

This bridal shower cake features delicate palette knife florals wrapped around the design, finished with dainty borders for just the right touch of texture and charm. A little modern, a little romantic, and perfectly suited for celebrating a beautiful bride-to-be.

Wishing her a day filled with love, laughter, and the sweetest moments ahead.
