Although, I’ve been off of Facebook for several months, I’ve been far from idle when it comes to baking—between holiday sales, custom orders, and the beginning of Farmer’s Market season, my oven almost never gets a break!

Next up is Father’s Day. For Dad, I’ve decided to keep it old school and bake up some of the well beloved classics: oatmeal creme pies, classic cookie boxes, old fashioned rum cakes, and mini pies. Check out the menu below 👇

OATMEAL CRÈME PIES - Weighing in at a whopping 100 grams of cookie, and sandwiching a generous dollop of luscious vanilla crème, these no beauties put Little Debbie to shame any day.
$5 / crème pie, $25 / 6, $40 / 12

CLASSIC COOKIE BOX - All of dad’s favorites—in one box. Each box includes 12 large, chewy cookies: 3 each of very chocolate-y chip, peanut butter, snickerdoodle, and oatmeal raisin.
$18 / box

MINI OLD FASHIONED RUM CAKES - Moist mini Bundt cakes with a crumbly pecan top, and finished with a decadent rum butter glaze. Choose from either vanilla or chocolate, or get an assortment of both flavors!
$6 / mini rum cake, or $32 / 6

SWEETIE PIES - Adorably decorated 5-inch pies with homemade buttery, flaky crust and sweet fruit or crème filling. Your choice of apple, cherry, or chocolate crème, or get an assortment!
$7.50 / mini pie, or $40 / 6

I wish y’all could smell my kitchen this morning…imagine a blend of maple, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, cardamom, and just a hint of freshly ground black pepper—it’s like a little slice of Autumn heaven in here as I prep maple chai scones for the freezer! 🍁🍂

The only question is: should I, or should I not pop the extras into the oven to share with my daughter when she wakes up? 🫣🫠

After taking a few months off for Liz’s wedding and to welcome baby Sean Evans into the world, the Sunflower Bakery is excited to share some of our Fall baking favorites with you. Think maple chai, apple cider, and of course, pumpkin—just to name a few. 🍁🍁🍂🍂🍏🎃

For all of those who don’t know us yet, we are two sisters from Kansas who have settled in the area with our husbands. We have a passion for baking with fresh, high quality ingredients, and for sharing it with our community. So we started an in-home bakery at the start of this past year.

Unfortunately, we will NOT be at the Sip and Shop this weekend as planned due to some sick kiddos the past week, but we are taking pre-orders until Monday, November 13th.

Pick up will be Tuesday, November 21st in Crittenden, KY, right off the exit!
