Here at Tin Cup Ice Cream & Desserts we are super, super excited to share some BIG NEWS and introduce Joe, Meryl and Atlas as the new owners of Crested Butte/Mt. Crested Butte’s favorite ice cream shops. They’ve lived and worked in the valley for years and are excited to take over the scoops and continue sharing love and happiness via sweet treats and ice cream. Matthew, Lydia and Genevieve are set to begin a new adventure but want to thank this incredible community for their endless and enthusiastic support over the last seven years and thru all the iterations and changes of the business. This has been a magical chapter of our lives and the decision to make a change hasn’t been easy. We will be here thru the winter and then back often to see all of you and have a cone or two 🍦😋❤️ You’re in great hands with your new owners and can’t wait to cheer them on! 🙌🎉

As the great poet says, times they are a changing. The one constant in life is change. We didn’t anticipate this change and yet here we are. But the party 🎉 continues! We are committed to having great ice cream, the best milkshakes and sweet treats and fun shops to visit during your stay in our corner of paradise. We are so so grateful to our incredible customers who make operating a small business here in Crested Butte so much fun. Here’s to a great rest of the summer!

We have 50 3-hour shifts that we need to fill in order to make this year's event happen.

Event staff receive $25/hour in cash, gift cards to local retail shops or restaurants or Chili & Beer Festival tickets.

We may have been around awhile now but we’re surprised how many of our friends don’t know about our rewards program. We keep it super simple. Enroll during checkout at either shop and begin earning rewards immediately. Then redeem those rewards for ice cream, milkshakes and more! Rewards don’t expire. Everyone is eligible.
