Leslie Jordan, the Emmy-winning actor best known for his roles as Lonnie Garr in "Hearts Afire," Beverly Leslie in "Will & Grace" and most recently Phil in "Call Me Kat," has died. He was 67. His agent David Shaul confirmed his death to USA TODAY in an emailed statement Monday.

It is with a very heavy heart we tell you we have lost our beloved Merle. Merle is Andy’s mother and is reunited with her son and her husband in heaven. Shortly after we closed the bakery down, Merle was diagnosed with cancer and eventually lost her battle against her illness. Her services will be held Tuesday, September 21 at ten a.m. if anyone would like to pay their respects. We know many of our customers grew fond of Merle and we hope you will keep her family in your thoughts and prayers.

The bakery has plenty of product that needs a new home now that we have closed the doors. We have plenty of baking sheets/pans, cardboard boxes and sheets. And plenty of food ingredients.

We will open the doors for the last time Wednesday June 2nd at 12 p.m. for anyone that is looking for any bakery related items.

It is with utter sadness that we make this post. We want to thank every single person that has walked through our doors, for making our passion your delights. The Crawfordville community is and has been the best. When we opened our doors almost 8 years ago you treated us as part of your community and have shown us love all these years. Sadly with the passing of Andy, and the inability to find employees knowledgeable of our craft, it has been very tough and strenuous. It is time to hang up the aprons. A lot of thought was put into this decision and it's not been an easy one to make. We thank you all whole hearted ly for your patronage. We will miss serving you & all your smiles. We hope everyone can understand that you all helped a dream come true for Karen and Andy. We love you all, & we will miss you all. God bless Wakulla County.

There was a possible covid contact here at the bakery so we are going to shut the bakery down until all employee results are negative or until we have quarantined appropriately.
While we are closed we will be cleaning and sanitizing everything so you will not have to worry. We here at the bakery take the health and safety of our employees and our community very seriously, and would like to thank you for your understanding during this closure.
If you have an order placed for the next 14 days we will be in contact with you to reschedule.

Karen’s will be closed on Sundays until further notice. We will be open normal business hours (6:30 am-6 pm) Monday-Saturday!
