Sugar Mill Sweets, KY Specializing in handmade decadent cheesecakes, truffles and chocolate treats! I wanted to do something to honor my mother. Komen in her honor.

I started making my truffles in October 2009 as a way to raise money and awareness for breast cancer. In her name, I made and sold truffles for the entire month of October, then donated the money to Susan G. After that, I received requests for them and started filling orders. I have many flavor combinations and continue to create more. My truffles can be made to fit specific celebrations, with dif

ferent color drizzle, shapes or designs to fit the occasion. Cookie center flavors include chocolate, chocolate-chocolate chip, peanut butter, mint chocolate, cookie dough and blondie (vanilla)...dipped in milk, white or dark chocolate. Chocolate drizzle colors and designs vary by request. Packaged in boxes of 4 or 12. A special tray or order may be placed for more. Prices for a box of 4 is $5.00; Box of 12 is $13.50. Prices may vary for large orders or for special orders. Message me for more details or prices.

This is a renovated sugar mill, located in the island of St Croix.
A quick history:
At its peak in the late 18th and early 19th centuries, St. Croix had over 200 sugar-producing plantations (with historical records noting around 218 active estates). Local historical tracking projects like Windmills of St. Croix note that roughly 150 to 156 stone sugar-crushing windmills were built across these sites, with about 115 to 120 mill ruins still standing today.
