Made some Hot Cross Buns in honor of the death, burial and resurrection of our Savior. Hot Cross Buns are decorated with a cross on top to symbolize the sacrifice of Jesus. The spices in the buns symbolize the spices that were used to embalm Christ's body. Traditionally, 12 rolls are made and one is removed to symbolize Judas' betrayal. Happy Easter Friends!
