Taking breaks or weekends off is crucial when it comes to running an at home bakery as a small business. Especially if itās not your full time job.
Running a home bakery is not for the weak. It requires alot of attention to detail, organization and time management.
Sometimes the weekends I choose to take off arenāt dictated by me but by my full time and this upcoming weekend, 5/30 will be one of those weekends.
BUT, on a positive note, this will allow me to prep things such as hand grated cheeses, browning butter for cookies, making cookie dough to freeze, and grocery aka Flour shop š
So just know that when I close for a weekend, I still am very much working in my kitchen (just behind the scenes).
